Mac Powell

Mac Powell, originally from Alabama, moved to Atlanta, GA as a sophomore in high school where he would soon co-found the Christian rock band Third Day. Throughout their nearly three-decade career, the band sold over 10 million albums, earned four Grammy Awards, one American Music Award, 24 Dove Awards, and was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Since Third Day’s farewell tour in 2018 Mac released his debut solo Christian album “New Creation” on October 15th, 2021 which landed at NO.1 on the Top Christian & Gospel album chart. River of Life, the debut single from “New Creation” became a Top 10 hit at Christian radio followed by the multi-week title track, New Creation, which spent 7 weeks at NO. 2 and 16 weeks inside the top 10. Mac is on staff at Church of the Apostles in Atlanta, GA where he lives with his wife Aimee and children.

Brenton Brown

Brenton Brown has written for some of CCM and Gospel’s most well-known artists – Third Day, Big Daddy Weave, Amy Grant, Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Chris Tomlin and many others. But what he’s most known for are the songs he has penned for the church. His worship songs have traveled beyond his childhood home of Cape Town, South Africa to churches in almost every country on earth. 

He has received a Grammy Nomination for the song Soul On Fire – recorded and released by the band Third Day (11 weeks at number 1 on Billboard Christian radio and RIAA Certified Gold). The song Lion And The Lamb sung by Big Daddy Weave, and co-written with Leeland Mooring and Brian Johnson reached number 2 on Christian Billboard charts and is also RIAA Certified Gold. Everlasting God co-written with Ken Riley recorded by Lincoln Brewster received a Dove Award nomination and an ASCAP Award for most played song on radio in both Christian and non-Christian formats.  And the song You Know My Name, co-written and released with Gospel artist and Grammy winner Tasha Cobbs Leonard has received over 200 million views on YouTube and is RIAA Certified Platinum.

The Browns reside just outside of Los Angeles with their two daughters. The family lost their home to the California wildfires of 2018 but in 2023 were able rebuild their home.
